This fun pattern is a kind of crochet sampler which consists of different stitches and patterns to create bands of texture and colour (or you can use one col- our throughout if you prefer).
Crocheted in the round (turning after each round), there are five bands. The colours change between each band as the texture changes, or simply start the new colour when the first runs out. I like to think that you are blending from one to another like a wa- tercolour painting.

1 x 4.50mm (US size 7) crochet hookFinished size: Circumference approx 76cm x height 29cm
Tension: 23sts and 7 rows to 10cm/4in square work- ing trebles and 4.5 mm (US size 7) crochet hook. Please note: I have used a larger hook than usual for 4ply yarn, this is to create a fluid drape rather than a dense or stiff fabric. Depending on your personal tension, you made need to adjust down to a 4mm (US size 6) if you crochet very loosely.

All our yarn is hand dyed in Northern Ireland. As each skein is hand painted there will be variations between each skein even in the same dye batch. It is recommend that when making a larger project you alternate skeins to avoid pooling.
